Photos and Memories From
Michael Polesky's
1st Annual Harp Happening
January 30, 1998
There was a party / harmonica happening that has been declared the first of many annual such gatherings, hosted by Michael Polesky of Los Angeles, and assisted by Ken Deifik, David Fairweather, and many others. This party was originally planned as a means of introduction of the new Renaissance Harmonica, designed and manufactured by Bobbie Giordano (Tallahassee, FL) and Douglas Tate (Ampthill, England). By coincidence, the annual Winter NAMM Convention was also scheduled for the same time frame - so it was a natural to combine the two affairs, and gather as many of the harmonica players together as possible. The unforgettable result was recorded by many on camera, video and recordings. Here are a few of the many photos taken that memorable evening, as furnished by Barbara Burton and Danny Wilson. Hope you all enjoy the results. |
