The Dave McKelvy Trio, an eclectric group of harmonica artists, will present the sounds of pop,
swing, country, jazz, and the light classics. McKelvy, heralded among his peers as a world-class
harmonicist, can be heard on television, radio, and motion pictures as a soloist and session
player. He can be heard on recordings with Brian Wilson, Stanley Clark, Nelson Riddle, Terrence
Blanchard, Leon Redbone, and Judy Collns. Michael Burton is also an accomplished artist on both
chromatic and diatonic harmonicas as well as the four-hole mini harmonica. He is an alumnus of
the famed Harmonica Rascals, starring Johnny Puleo. On bass harmonica, Danny Wilson is the anchor
for the band. His virtuosity includes having played with the famed Jerry Murad's Harmonicats and
is widely known as the best bass harmonica player in the world with the solid rhythms and bass
patterns that create the foundation for the trio's rhythmic harmonies.
