2003 Black Reel Awards Nominations Congratulations are in order as Standing in the Shadows of Motown has received four nominations for the "2003 Black Reel Awards." The nominations were compiled by our Blue Ribbon Panel, comprised of film, television and music critics, radio station program directors and personalities, actors, directors, filmmakers, and musicians. Standing in the Shadows of Motown received four nominations for: Best Film Best Independent Film Best Film Poster Best Soundtrack Voting began on Friday, January 3, 2003 and will conclude on Saturday, February 15, 2003, and the 2003 Black Reel Award winners will be announced on Sunday, March 2, 2003.
